it does when you have bills to pay and no income! (that happened to us a few years ago...both out of work and NO paycheck....).

Food is life---get as much of it as you can!!

unlucky---didnt think that happened anymore in life----you go to college just to get the BA and who cares what it was in --unless you are pre-med or something in health care...
would really like to get a job in something I went to college for---but alas, I dont think they will pay me to sleep

Wish I could get a job earning ~$20/hour....best I got was $13 and that was a while (years) back---now I only get offers of 10-11....my salary range has slipped while inflation, gas, taxes, et. al. all increased! Right now its cheaper for us for me to stay home (just finished the dreaded fed/state income taxes)....so here I will be until someone calls to offer me $13+/hour.

Well, there was no way in hell I was going to work in food service anywhere. (Fast Food or not)

I just hate the idea of me handling other people's food or dealing with customers. Thats why when I applied at Best Buy and such I applied for repair or delivery or shipping and recieving. And then my dad told me about the job offers at the steel mill in my field, so I applied there and passed all the stuff they've thrown at me, just waiting on the (hopefully) final hurdle.

well that is great, unlucky, hope it works out.
I did the mc'd thing in grad school---for 3 weeks, got tired of being left in charge of the kids while the mangers went to the back to neck!
wouldnt work at best buy---they bought out my old isp---whom I had L O T S of problems with (since then)...so I dont frequent them anylonger (and fry's is better anyways).
Unfortunately for me, I cant work standing all day (2 pinched disks have seen to that line of work) so a desk job is where I am stuck (would have L O V E D to have gotten my chef certificate, but I cant do the standing any longer

)....so that doesnt leave me with much....and I aint no spring chicken any longer ----and female so thats 3 strikes. So here I sit.

Blahhhhhhhhh, feels like it has gotten worse. I woke up in the middle of the night and had to get some chloraseptic spray for my throat because it hurt so damn much. >.> Stupid viruses... nothing I can freaking do about it other then gut it out, like I have done for 5 days already. Have to give a presentation Friday, so hopefully I will be better by then, if not, well f#!$. But ya, it sucks, plain and simple.

lol True, very true monty. But it still is not fun. Kinda wish it were strep so that I could have some medicine for it. Instead I was told to take ibuprofuen. My sister has the same thing and got tylenol with codeine... >< I want some of that chit. lol
